What You Don't Know 3So
OH MY GOSH.
Laci actually wanted to be my friend. She even told me the guy she was crushing over. I mean come on. That's real friend status right there. All night we sat there and exchanged stories. Well more like she talked and I listened for a few hours.
The moon eventually rose to the center of the starless sky and we both decided it'd be wise to head back home. On the way, she slipped me her phone number and told me to call anytime I needed someone to talk to.
I wondered as I stood on my doorstep, did she even know what kind of loner I was?
Slipping through the front door was easy. Nobody was in the kitchen. And my mom was far too used to me staying out late. My dad was the real risk.
The TV was blaring from the living room, a sure sign that he was home. Very carefully, I stepped into the hallway and past the walkway, only to be called out. Guess I wasn't as ninjistic as I thought
"Kyler?" His deep voice boomed.
"Daddykins?" I smiled at him, shyly playing with my fin

The day of the week I dreaded most.
You'd think it'd be Monday, or some logical day, but surely not Tuesday. I mean after all, what did poor Tuesday ever do to me? Well let me explain.
I was not born musically inclined. My voice didn't make lyrics sound 'pretty', nor did my fingers do the guitar any justice. And on this particular day, Tuesday in case you've forgotten, I am required to take a half hour of choir, and a half hour of band. This hour combined is enough to completely throw off my entire day.
So until I move out of the tenth grade, Tuesdays are forever ruined.
But that isn't all.
Also, on Tuesdays, my tiny and only group of friends, abandons me at lunch hour to practice their studies for some organization they are all involved in. The club members must receive above average grades and get teacher recommendation. No way in sin am I getting into that friking place.
So all by myself, I stalk the halls during this hour. T

It all started when I woke up this morning.
Naturally, I'm a morning person, but this particular day started off sucking major butt.
Just sayin', you know?
So, my eyes flittered open to greet the day, only to discover that the bright sunlight I'd hoped to see, had transformed into a mass of dark grey clouds hovering low over the town, promising rain.
Then, I went to use the bathroom. Not only did I almost pee myself waiting thirty minutes for my sister to finally let me in, but my older brother wouldn't let me out. He held onto the door knob, laughing at me as I tried my hardest to shove his weight out of my way.
Yes, I failed epicly.
That word alone is enough to make me cringe. Homework, hoes, whores and crack heads. That pretty much sums it up. Oh, and some random kid decided it'd be hilarious to put some random lock with some random code on 'some random locker', ahem, a.k.a., my locker.
I spent twenty friking minutes screwing with t
A KnowingYoung boy nowhere to go,
Broken house and a heart of stone,
What he had left of a family,
Is long gone.
Standing there beside the church,
He's all alone in a world of hurt.
He tries to hold it all in,
But just makes it worse.
So he steps into his room and locks the door,
Puts the gun against his head and asks the Lord,
Is this the way that im supposed to leave?
Or should I drown myself in my misery?
I cant help but to think that nobody cares.
God are you out there?
A voice in his head laughs at him,
Says son I love you and I always will.
Now put down that thing down and don't be afraid,
This is what I say,
That gun your holdin wont make the kill,
But if you let him get to ya the devil will.
So take a deep breath and just look around,
I promise you,
I wont let you down.
Young girl lost her way,
In this cold world shes come to hate,
She wants to go home,
But she thinks its too late.
No idea where the road will turn,
Shes just takin life,
As a live and learn game.
Vanguard, Chapter 1: DuncanDuncan's Journal: Day 1288
I consider myself a good man. I respect women, elders, my equals, and the dead. I say a morning prayer, and an evening one. Hell, I even thank the gods for a meal, instead of immediately chowing down in the voracious manner as the other soldiers here do. By all logical means, I should be in paradise. No really, not just because I'm a good man, but also because I should be dead by now. So I ask myself: why, oh gods up there, have I ended up in hell?
1288 days. 1288 days of my life have been spent in this misery, and I'm beginning to lose faith in the glory I was promised. Some of the rookies still live in their ignorant bliss, but I've lived long enough to realize that there's not much glory to find here. “Sing the songs of glory and march into battle—-join The Crusade today!”. Such were the words of the posters The Crusade has spread all over The Mortal Realm. Gullible fools practically stand in line for these songs of glory that th
